Announcing the New AFLW Coaching Pathway Scholarship
KAYO is pleased to announce that we have been appointed by Valley Park Farm to handle the launch of the ‘Women’s Coaching Crusade’ in partnership with the AFL Coaches Association. Valley Park Farm’s leading free-range brand, Lucky Chicken Eggs will become a major sponsor of the AFLCA, and as a result, will provide the funding for an annual Coaching Pathway Scholarship to be awarded to a current AFLW player.
Valley Park Farm’s CEO, Morry Wroby, is pretty excited about the new relationship, “ It gives us the opportunity to be involved in women’s sport and more specifically, to play a role in developing pathway opportunities for young women to continue their involvement in AFLW after their playing days have finished.”
The CEO of the AFL Coaches Association, Mark Brayshaw said, “This is ground-breaker for us – to have Lucky Chicken Eggs on board gives us the resources to expand our current pathway programs to young women. I think this is a first for Australian sport and we are looking forward to being able to build the program further in future years.”
Lucky Chicken Eggs are one of the very few brands accredited by the RSPCA as a result of the ethical farming practices on their farms; with only 1,500 hens per hectare and raising their hens antibiotic-free.
KAYO has created and produced a multi-platform campaign handling all elements – advertising, video, social, digital, event, packaging and promotion. The campaign will run for the duration of the 2019 AFLW season.
